Ok, so I have acquired another bike, the last one was totally shot and it will be a while before it makes it back to the road.
Luckily I was able to find a newer one, decked out with long distance accessories. I still have a few little things to add to it, but it’s already got almost everything I need.
It’s only a couple of years newer, but the old one’s design hadn’t changed since like 1987, and this one is a newly redesigned model. It’s pretty much like the difference between driving a 1987 F-150, and driving a 2008 F-150; they’re both technically the same model, but one is WAY better to drive. It will be way better, I wish I had known this in the beginning, I’d have gotten this one first.
Setback
Since the hot water heater threw up all over my house, I’ve a little behind. Installing carpet sucks ass. Cleaning up a flooded house sucks even more. Instead of Sunday morning, I hope to get out of here on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.
TOOL
The detour in Dallas was definitely worth it. TOOL is awesome.
Special Thanks to Andrew for the photo.
If you need someone to drive your car around while you are gone, let me know!
